Not my best race in Heusden, but like I said; bad days are a part of it.

Just like last week, I took off in a race with some top class 1500m runners. The pacemaker was supposed to run for a time of 3:37. More than fast enough for me. I tried to settle myself at the back, but after 200m, I felt I didn't have a good day.
Still I wanted to do my best to get the finishline. After 600m I started dying badly, this feeling didn't stop untill 5 minutes after I finished. I ran 3:55.02 or 8.7 seconds off my personal best. Not too great is all I can say, but I'm happy I got through it. These races will make you stronger after all. (What doesn't kill you makes you stronger).

I'm not worried about yesterday, I'll have 2 weeks of solid training now and then I'll try my best again at Ninove in August.

Next week there's the national outdoor championship. I'll be running there without any high expectations.
